About Sasha

Originally from Northern Virginia, Sasha has chosen Charlottesville as her permanent home after falling in love with the city during her undergraduate years at the University of Virginia. She finds Charlottesville to be the perfect place to live and work because of it’s beauty, history, and culture.  Sasha specializes in representing Home Buyers (she is an ABR- Accredited Buyer Representative), Home Sellers (she is an SRS- Seller Representative Specialist), corporate relocations, and University of Virginia faculty, students, and staff.

A 2005 graduate of the University of Virginia, Sasha has a special attachment to Charlottesville and her fellow Wahoos. Recently married to University of Virginia classmate John Farmer, Sasha now resides in the City of Charlottesville in the heart of the University community with her husband and hound dog, Trooper. She has volunteered for several years at the Charlottesville SPCA and has also done quite a bit of volunteer work with low income housing providers, from service trips through the Appalachian Service Project to local projects through Charlottesville’s Habitat for Humanity.  A Board Member of the Junior League of Charlottesville, an active member of Charlottesville's Chamber of Commerce, a member of her neighborhood homeowner's association, a mentor at Computers4Kids, and a member of Leadership Charlottesville's class of 2009, Sasha is passionate about improving the Charlottesville community and is committed to making it a better place for its residents and visitors.

Sasha’s strong technical skills honed from years as a web designer, and her excellent advertising instinct discovered by years of newspaper editing and sharpened through more recent projects in graphic design will prove invaluable in bringing both her clients and her properties to the forefront of the market.  Her previous work in the staffing industry also proves extremely useful to her clients relocating to Charlottesville who need access to employment opportunities and advice.  Sasha spends her free time reading, scrap booking, designing websites, and is a self-proclaimed home-improvement and interior design “expert.”

Sasha’s clients have always found her prompt, friendly service a joy, and her knowledge and analytical skills invaluable. Sasha makes every effort possible to close the deal and works tirelessly as an advocate for her clients. Sasha’s passion for Charlottesville, in addition to her technical abilities, patience, thoroughness, and dedication to her clients is sure to keep them coming back.

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as a Charlottesville real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.  I will also assure you that I will only represent you in the transaction.  I do not practice dual agency and would never represent both the seller and the buyer in the same negotiation.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in Charlottesville or elsewhere in Central Virginia, please contact me.
